Kid Zone Details

We are so excited to share this information with everyone! Details on the Kid Zone area at the event have confirmed! We have so much planned and just know the kids are going to have a BLAST!

Ok, here are the details!

Armbands for the Kid Zone are $10 and
will be on sale the day of the event.

Benefit Day Details

The Caring for Carter Team is working hard to pull everything together for the day of the benefit. We have a lot planned, but still need all the prayers and support you can offer!

*Chicken Plate Tickets*

Tickets are $10 each and include: BBQ chicken leg quarter, baked beans, potato salad and a roll.

With the purchase of a ticket, you will also be entered into the drawing for one of FOUR gift baskets.

*Bake Sale*

We will have baked goods availabe for purchase the day of the event from local sponsors.

*Kid Zone*

Kids are welcome to join in on the fun the day of the event! There will be space jumps, face painting, sno cones, and more.

We are looking for local sponsors to donate inflatables and other items for the Kid Zone area. Please send us an email to caringforcarter@yahoo.com if you are interested in donating or volunteering.

*Raffles*

In addition to the four gifts baskets to be given away, we have lots of other items you can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win. Visit our

Details for the benefit have been finalized! We are very thankful to the City of Brandon and Mayor Coulter for their generosity in allowing us to use their facilities!

Caring for Carter Team

Welcome

The Caring for Carter Team is working hard to put together a benefit for Carter. All the details of the benefit are currently in the works and we hope to have a date and time set soon!

Who is Carter?

Carter is a 1 year old from Florence, MS. He is the son of Brandon, an elementary educator at Brandon Elementary School, and Meagan, a registered nurse. Carter was born with OEIS complex which consists of multiple abnormalities. During his lifetime, Carter has been hospitalized over 100 days and undergone approximately 30 surgeries. In September 2011, Carter underwent an intestinal surgery and has since become intolerant to his feedings. He now requires intravenous nutrition, which is beginning to damage his liver.

On February 13, 2012, Carter was transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for further treatment. Cincinnati Children's hospital has an outstading reputation for their gastroenterology program. A medical jet from University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital transported him from Jackson, MS, to Cincinnati, OH.

All proceeds raised from the Caring for Carter Benefit will be used to assist the Clines with their medical bills and travel expenses.

How Can I Help??

First and foremost, PRAY! Carter, his family, and medical teams need your prayers!

Next, we would love for you or your company to help in any way possible to make the benefit as success. We are accepting donated items or services for a raffle on the day of the benefit. All business names will be added to our banners that will be displayed the day of the event. In addition, you will receive a receipt for your donation and businesses can claim their donations as advertisement.

For monetary donations, a charitable account has been establised through Regions bank. You can go by any Regions Bank and deposit into the Caring for Carter account (If you are outside of MS, please indicate to Regions that this is a MS account). If you choose, you can mail a check made payable to Caring for Carter to:
